Our approach to sustainable beauty

Sustainable Products

We operate in a conscious and responsible manner. We care about our impact on society, the economy and the environment .These beliefs are embedded at every level within our operations.

We use natural ingredients to produce our products. We work with UK based certified suppliers to ensure our ingredients are of the utmost quality.

The quality of eco-friendly products has been proven to be better than that of the high street hair care ranges. Natural products deliver effective results without putting the consumer at risk (unless they are allergic to the natural ingredients in which case the risk is quite low). You also get better results and effectiveness. Natural and oleo-chemical ingredients are less likely to cause skin irritation or allergic reactions. With no synthetic, toxic chemicals or artificial colours, our products rely on natural properties found naturally in plants.

Although products based on petrochemicals may offer short-term results, the long-term effects can be highly toxic to humans and the environment. By opting for sustainable and eco-friendly products you avoid the stress and uncertainty of toxic, synthetic products.

 Sustainable Packaging

We use minimal packaging.

A reported 70% of waste from the beauty industry is caused by packaging.

Our main packaging is made of glass. Glass can be recycled numerous times unlike plastic which can only be recycled 2-3 times before its quality decreases.

Our jars and bottles are great for re-purposing.

Where we have used plastic as part of our packaging we use the PCR range (post-consumer recycled). PCR refers to any material that has already been used by consumers and placed back into the manufacturing process. At least 10% of the materials used have already been previously recycled. All the material is sourced from the UK where possible in order to further reduce the carbon footprint.

We do not print customer invoices, instead we ask our customers to accept and understand that their email order confirmation serves as their receipt.
